Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 20, 2026
Sparkee LLC (“Sparkee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Sparkee websites, web and mobile applications, estimating tools, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you access or use the Service, including when you visit our websites, use the Sparkee application, use our public estimating tools, or otherwise interact with us.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect account information such as your name, email address, login credentials, company information, and settings.
We collect business data that you enter into the App, including estimates, jobs, invoices, materials, labor, pricing, customer names, customer contact information, job site addresses, notes, and related records.
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers. We may store limited billing metadata, such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription status, payment status, and related transaction identifiers.
We may collect technical and usage information such as device type, operating system, app version, log data, crash reports, approximate location derived from usage or device settings, and interactions with App features.
Crash and error diagnostics are processed by Sentry, our error-monitoring provider. Before Sparkee sends an error report, we remove personal information from it — including names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, scope and note text, and access tokens — and retain only an account identifier and the technical details needed to diagnose the problem. On the web version of Sparkee, some errors are captured directly by the error-monitoring provider’s browser-level handler rather than by Sparkee, and those reports are transmitted without that additional filtering. They consist of the error message, the technical stack trace, and the page address.
If you connect third-party integrations, such as QuickBooks or payment services, we may access only the information necessary to provide the connected functionality.
Our public website uses analytics and advertising technologies that set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, and the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. These tools may collect information such as pages viewed, referring website, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device characteristics, and whether you arrived from one of our ads. They do not receive the business data you enter into the App.
2. Information You Provide About Others
Sparkee is a business tool used by contractors and other service providers. When you use the Service, you may enter or upload information about people who do not have Sparkee accounts, including your customers, employees, subcontractors, and other contacts. This may include names, contact information, job site addresses, project details, and notes.
We process that information on your behalf and for the purpose of providing the Service to you — for example, to generate and format estimates and invoices, to deliver an estimate link to a customer you designate, to record a customer’s acceptance or decline of an estimate, and to store your business records. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising or to build marketing profiles.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to provide this information to Sparkee, and for giving any notices your customers, employees, or others are entitled to receive. This responsibility is also described in our Terms of Service.
If you are a customer or other individual whose information a contractor has entered into Sparkee, and you want to access, correct, or delete that information, please contact the contractor you worked with. They control that information, and we will support their request as required by applicable law.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve Sparkee; create and manage estimates, jobs, invoices, and related business records; process subscriptions and payments; provide support; troubleshoot issues; communicate with you; and comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Sparkee, including hosting, database, authentication, payment processing, analytics, customer support, and integration providers.
These providers may include Stripe for payments, Supabase for authentication, database, and backend infrastructure, Sentry for crash and error monitoring, Google Analytics for website analytics, Meta Platforms for advertising measurement, and Intuit QuickBooks if you choose to connect QuickBooks.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
5. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of the business and customer data you enter into Sparkee. We use that data only as necessary to provide and improve the App, support your account, comply with law, and operate our services.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account and business data while your account is active or as needed to provide the App. We may retain certain information longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or backup purposes.
You may request account deletion or deletion of associated data by contacting us. After deletion, residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-Party Services
Sparkee may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Children’s Privacy
Sparkee is intended for use by adults and is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create Sparkee accounts.
If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from an individual under 18 in circumstances where we should not have done so, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information as appropriate and required by applicable law.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may contact us to make a request.
You can opt out of website analytics and advertising measurement. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and browser privacy settings or extensions can block these scripts entirely. Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can manage how Meta uses data for advertising in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Blocking these tools does not affect your ability to use the Sparkee app.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of Sparkee after changes means you accept the updated policy.
